Our kitchen is completely gone. Everything is broken, splintered and piled in a dumpster in our driveway, and we are making preparation for putting it all back together.
It is not easy living without a kitchen. All of our appliances are in what was the dining room (only the fridge is plugged in), and our living room is not at all livable. Here are some pictures. We’ll post some more as we make progress.
Ah—our kitchen renovation was incredibly stressful (and we didn’t do any of the work ourselves). But, in the end, it was exactly the improvement we needed. I can’t wait to see the finished project. Did you all start this the LAST day of school?! What about summer BREAK?

Actually we started four days before the last day of school! Talk about a trying week. I finished school on Friday and Saturday morning we left for DC, where we took the college age group on a mission trip. We just got back Tuesday so we have our work cut out for us. Luckily, Bryant’s dad is come up to give us some assistance.
